The safe and efficient management of this volume required: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accurate and automatic identification of truck license plates and container numbers, even when the text was blurred or covered by logos;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interconnection of the recognition system with automated entry\/exit systems, such as electric beams, traffic lights and presence detectors (loop);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Real-time access management for an authorized list of devices;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capacity to handle over 1,200 trucks and containers per day, without creating delays or congestion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The solution from Albascan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Albascan implemented an integrated security and automation solution, combining advanced technology and engineering experience:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Specialized OCR\/ANPR cameras, capable of reading license plates and container codes even in difficult visibility conditions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Integration with software used by the concessionaire, tested and successfully implemented in other ports in the region and beyond, for stability and high performance;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installation of an automatic beam system, connected to traffic lights and loop sensors, to control entrances and exits in a synchronized manner;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training and technical assistance for port personnel to ensure smooth and stable operation of the system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Results<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Automated and reliable entry and exit management for every vehicle and container at the port;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Successfully processed daily flow of over 1,200 vehicles, without interruption in daily operations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved security and full traceability for every movement in critical areas of the port;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An internationally proven solution that can be used as a model for other ports in the region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Client: Durres Port AuthorityImplementation Year: 2024Location: Port of Durres, Albania CHALLENGES The Port of Durres, as the largest maritime port in Albania, faces a large influx of vehicles and containers every day.
