CHALLENGES
At a time when commercial and modified drones pose a direct threat to the security of critical infrastructures, the institution needed a sophisticated system to:
- Detection, identification and classification of drones in the air according to the authorized list (allow list) and prohibited list (blacklist);
- Determining the location of the pilot, often disguised or on the move, in order to enable real-time intervention;
- Advanced monitoring of technical parameters of each flight, including:
- The serial number of the drone,
- The model and manufacturer,
- GPS coordinates of the flight and length of stay in the area;
- System integration with existing security and incident management protocols to ensure a synchronized response.
The solution from Albascan
Albascan designed and implemented an Anti-Drone solution with military-grade technology, certified for use in high-risk institutions:
- Radar and RF (radio frequency) detection system for detecting drones at various distances and in difficult environmental conditions;
- Intelligent platform for automatic model identification, with immediate classification into “allow” or “black” lists according to defined parameters;
- Pilot localization functionality, through signal triangulation and command source analysis;
- Automatic recording and storage of all technical flight information, with a dedicated database for subsequent auditing and analysis;
