CHALLENGES
For the security of critical facilities, the establishment of an integrated system for controlling and filtering vehicle entrances was required, combining:
- Full vehicle scanning, without the need for manual inspection;
- Physical system for blocking and stopping unauthorized vehicles, with high-security bollards (K12);
- Efficiently integrate the entrance of a new and existing building, without interrupting daily operations.
The solution from Albascan
Albascan designed and implemented a high-level solution, through:
- Supply and installation of a vehicle scanner from the manufacturer UVISCAN, an international leader in under-vehicle inspection technology;
- Installation of certified K12 level hydraulic bollards by the TISO company, approved by institutions such as NATO;
- Integration with existing control and monitoring systems;
- Training of technical and operational staff for use and response in case of emergency situations.
Results
- Establishing a checkpoint with military-grade security;
- Automatic and accurate scanning of all incoming vehicles, without unnecessary stops;
- Physical control of entrances with hydraulic bollards, ready for immediate activation;
- Unique solution in the Republic of Albania, in accordance with the highest international security standards.
