CHALLENGES
The objective was to create a complete, automated system for controlling, paying and managing entry and exits in a closed paid parking lot, facing challenges such as:
- Daily flow of vehicles with different users: residents with subscriptions, occasional customers, and local businesses;
- Request for automated and fiscalized payments, according to the legislation in force;
- The need for financial and technical traceability at every entry/exit of the vehicle and payment made;
- Interconnection with the license plate system, to eliminate human intervention and increase efficiency;
- Flexible management for monthly, daily and hourly subscriptions, for different user categories.
The solution from Albascan
Albascan designed and installed a complete parking management system, which included:
- ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) camera for automatic registration of license plates at entry/exit;
- Automatic beams synchronized with authorized lists and payment status (active subscription or completed payment);
- Payment terminals with bank cards and cash, with printer for fiscalized tax coupons according to Tax rules;
- Development and implementation of a software platform for:
- Subscription administration (residents, businesses, institutions);
- Automatic issuance of daily/monthly financial reports, divided by user types;
- Real-time monitoring of environments and input-output statistics;
- Integration with the fiscalization system of electronic devices, in full compliance with tax legislation;
- Training of technical staff for maintenance and intervention in operational cases or customer questions.
Results
- Complete automation of the entry/exit and payment process, quickly, without human intervention and with tracking of every action;
- Fiscalized and reported payments, in accordance with the Albanian law on electronic fiscal devices;
- Simplified management for subscribers, through a dedicated panel for residents and businesses that use parking spaces regularly;
- Increased revenue and full financial transparency, with separate reporting by source of revenue;
- Scalable model for other similar parking lots in private or institutional ownership.
