CHALLENGES
Large-scale factories face constant threats to physical security, such as attempted unauthorized entry or damage to infrastructure. Specific challenges for this project included:
- Very large perimeter area (about 1,800 linear meters), difficult to monitor conventionally;
- The need for early detection of attempted intrusions, including touching or damaging the fence;
- Synchronized alarm system response, with real-time signaling and visual support;
- Demand for continuous monitoring and intelligent response, without interruption to daily factory operations.
The solution from Albascan
Albascan designed and implemented a specialized security solution for industrial perimeter protection:
- Installation of intelligent sensors on the fence, capable of detecting vibrations, pressure or sudden touches, indicating an attempted intrusion;
- Full integration with alarm system and signaling center, with immediate reporting in case of incident;
- Installation of PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras at strategic points on the perimeter, which are automatically positioned towards the alarmed area;
- Construction of a monitoring center, with live views and full recording of all events;
- Simple incident management scheme, with automatic logic that differentiates between false alarms and real events.
Results
- Advanced perimeter security, which guarantees uninterrupted protection of the industrial environment;
- Immediate response in case of any attempt at interference or physical damage to the fence;
- Effective interaction between cameras and the alarm system, which significantly increases the efficiency of surveillance and documentation of events;
- Reduction of physical security costs, thanks to automation of patrols and visual surveillance;
